From PowerLifting to Pain Relieving
In 2008, I graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts and in 2011 I got into powerlifting. I loved what I was doing! With being a chef I was able to travel and live in different countries. With powerlifting I finally found a way to work out and exercise that I truly loved–who doesn’t like lifting heavy things :).
However, with working 60+ hours a week, living with endometriosis, working out on a regular basis, and not taking care of myself properly, I sustained an injury. I needed to change the way I was living. I want to help my clients avoid anything like that from happening to them.
I graduated from Oregon School of Massage in 2017. Since then I have been taking as many continuing education courses that I can to ensure that I have the best tools in my tool belt. My clients range from endurance or competitive athletes (runners, bicyclist, swimmers, powerlifters, etc.) to weekend warriors. Many of them suffer from pain, stiffness, tense muscles, and decreased range of motion that they have from training, regular workouts, and just their everyday lives. Through my work I help to alleviate these issues so my clients can train to their best and keep doing what they love.
In my free time I still enjoy cooking and doing gentle exercises like yoga and riding my bicycle. I also enjoy sewing, crocheting, and watching movies.
I look forward to helping you train smarter and harder.
